So they may not have been thrilled about attending church with me, or didn't care to spend the day or eat a meal together, they did smile for our annual "mother's day photo"---so I'm counting it as a blessed day.

A Day Off from Work

Don't get me wrong, I am thankful that Bill and I are employed during these economic hard times, BUT, it was so fun to take a day off last Friday!!!!! We spent the day at the Fort DeSoto Pier, fishing and sunning. It didn't even matter that we caught zero fish! We did get to see quite a few dolphin playing around the pier, and my tan is off to a good start for the summer.

I'm not sure which is better....celebrating Easter or eating lunch at Sonny's BBQ to celebrate!
